Return flow
Returns through buying agent platforms work differently from ordinary local e-commerce orders. In most cases there are two scenarios:
- Before international shipping (QC stage) — If you are not satisfied with the QC photos, you can often request a return to the Chinese seller through the buying agent platform. This is usually free or only requires a small domestic shipping fee
- After international shipping — Once the parcel has already been shipped internationally, returns are usually difficult and expensive because the item would need to be sent back to China

QC photos are your best protection
QC (Quality Check) photos are one of the most important tools when shopping through a buying agent platform. After the item reaches the warehouse, the platform takes detailed photos for you to review.
This is your best chance to catch defects, size mistakes, or mismatched items before international shipping. Returning during the QC stage is much easier and cheaper than trying to return after the parcel has already left China.

Refund flow
When a seller approves a return, the refund usually goes back to your buying agent platform balance rather than your original payment method. Processing times vary by seller and platform, but 3 to 7 business days is common.
Each buying agent platform has its own refund rules, so check the platform terms for eligibility, timing, and any fees that may apply.
